The Delphi Amsterdam Townhouse is located in the heart of Amsterdam’s elegant Old South neighbourhood. Found directly south of the city centre, the sprawling residential borough is known for its quiet, leafy boulevards and stately villas. A 40-minute stroll from Dam Square puts it out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist centre, yet it remains walking distance from the beating cultural heart of Amsterdam: Museum Square. Walk for ten minutes – or cycle for five – and you’ll find the Rijksmuseum (dedicated to work from the Dutch Golden Age), the Stedelijk (an homage to contemporary art) and the van Gogh Museum (home to the world's largest collection of Vincent van Gogh pieces).

Vondelpark

Vondelpark

Another neighbour is the city’s largest and best-known park, Vondelpark. Set over 47 hectares, the sprawling grounds of Vondelpark are loved by both locals and visitors alike. The park also has an open air theatre, several cafes, a rose garden and kilometres of winding paths that jostle with cyclists, joggers and pedestrians all year round. In addition to leafy parkland and a world-class museum district, we’re also a short walk from the city’s UNESCO heritage-listed canal district.

Beethovenstraat

The shopkeepers in the Beethovenstraat are not only craftsmen who know their customers, but who also move with the times. You can also come here for coffee, lunch or dinner.
